Purpose
To promote government information library service by providing an avenue for discussion of problems, concerns, and exchange of ideas among library staff members working with government information in all types of libraries.
Activities
- Annual summer workshop on a topic relating to government information
- Sponsor a speaker at the ILA Annual Conference
- Offer continuing education credit for annual workshop and Fall Conference speakers
- Publish a quarterly newsletter, The GODORT News
Who would benefit?
All who consider government information important to their jobs.
Annual Dues:
$5.00 in addition to ILA membership dues.
