2017 ILA Lobby From Home Day and Legislative Day
ILA will hold its annual Lobby From Home Day on Wednesday, February 15. This is a day when all ILA members are asked to contact their Senator and Representative via phone and email. ILA Members will gather in Des Moines on March 15 for ILA's Legislative Day. The event will begin with a legislative briefing at 3:00 PM at the Ola Babcok Miller Building (1112 East Grand) and then ILA will host a legislative reception in the Law Library at the State Capitol beginning at 4:00 PM.

2017 ILA Leadership Symposiums
New this year - ILA will be hosting 2 Leadership Symposiums in April with the theme of Build a Better Library World. On April 6 and 7 we will host a Symposium in Atlantic and on April 20 and 21 we will be in Mason City. There are one and two day registration options for each Symposium. This is a great opportunity to earn a number of CEUs and network with other librarians. Click here to download a regsitration form that includes a tentative agenda.
