Iowa Library Trustees Association
Purpose
- To promote the development and improvement of library service throughout Iowa
- To provide trustees the opportunity of working together on issues
- To keep trustees informed of issues so they may be effective policy makers
Activities
- Participate in the ILA Annual Conference
- Sponsor yearly ILTA scholarship given to a U of I Library student
- Honor the Iowa Trustee of the Year
- Communicate with members, particularly through Regional Representatives
